Rules & Disciplines

OFFICIAL COMPETITION RULEBOOK & EVENT STANDARDS
Fair play, strict judging, and safety are the core pillars of Strongman World Battle. Every event is governed by an international panel of certified head judges to ensure absolute integrity of world records and competition standings.

GENERAL COMPETITION FORMAT
Each official Battle consists of 5 core disciplines conducted over one or two competition days. Points are awarded based on placement in each event (1st place = N points, 2nd place = N-1 points, etc.). The athlete with the highest aggregate total at the end of the 5th event is crowned Champion.

CORE DISCIPLINES
1. The Atlas Stones
Athletes must lift a series of 5 heavy concrete stones (ranging from 140kg to 210+kg) onto elevated platforms in the fastest time possible. Time limit: 60 seconds. Tacky is permitted.
2. Max Log Press / Axle Deadlift
Tests maximum overhead or deadlift strength. Conducted either as a Last Man Standing (increasing weights) or Reps in 60 Seconds format. Down-signals from the head judge are mandatory for a lift to count.
3. Frame & Yoke Carry
A test of speed, grip, and core stability. Athletes carry heavy steel frames or yokes weighing over 400kg over a distance of 20 meters. Drops are allowed within the designated time limit.
4. Vehicle / Anvil Pull
Athletes pull heavy trucks, buses, or harness-assisted loads across a 25-meter course using raw leg power and arm-over-arm ropes.
